Favorite Authors/Book series: Neil Gaiman (Good Omens, Neverwhere, Sandman, American Gods), Stephen King (Dark Tower series, The Stand, The Shining... and many others!), Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child (the Agent Pendergast novels), Val McDermid (the Tony Hill/Carol Jordan novels), and a whole smattering of classics & non-fiction books.
I have a penchant for obsessing over older British men. Anthony Head being my favorite.
I recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology and have taken classes with retired FBI profilers, so I've done some pretty cool stuff. As a result, though, I have a hard time watching crime dramas because they make me want to pull my hair out. Much like real doctors watching House, I suppose. I now do research for an amazing non-profit organization that helps find missing children and track non-compliant sex-offenders, among other things.
